Working at Heathrow Airport with Vincents

Working at Heathrow Airport is an experience unlike any other—fast-paced, high-pressure, and incredibly rewarding. Being part of that environment with Vincents made it even better. From day one, it was clear I was working alongside a top group of lads who took real pride in their work. The team atmosphere was spot on: professional when it mattered, but always supportive and easy to get along with.

The project itself was both challenging and enjoyable, giving us the chance to showcase a wide range of interior skills. One of the standout elements was the installation of various curved bulkheads. These required precision, patience, and a strong eye for detail to get the finishes just right, especially in such a high-profile location.

Another key feature was the decorative raft positioned centrally within the space. This element added a real focal point to the area and demanded a high-quality finish to meet the standards expected at a major international airport. It was the kind of work that you can step back from and feel genuinely proud of once completed.

Alongside the more decorative aspects, we also handled structural support work for signage. This side of the job required careful coordination and accuracy to ensure everything was safe, secure, and perfectly aligned with the overall design.

What really made the experience stand out, though, was the team. Everyone pulled their weight, shared knowledge, and kept standards high throughout. It’s not always easy working in such a busy and controlled environment like Heathrow, but with the right crew, it becomes a great place to be.

All in all, it was a brilliant project—great work, great people, and a company that’s genuinely good to work for.
